A WordPress.com Partner that builds sites editors actually enjoy.

WordPress.com, self-hosted, or VIP

WordPress.com Business and Commerce plans give you managed infrastructure, automatic core updates, a built-in CDN and backups, with plugin and custom theme support. For most marketing sites and many commerce sites that is the correct level of operational overhead: near zero.

Self-hosted WordPress, including WP Engine, makes sense when you need server-level control, unusual infrastructure requirements, or a hosting relationship you already have. WordPress VIP is for organizations with enterprise security review, high traffic floors and strict compliance requirements. We build on all three and recommend based on your constraints rather than a preferred plan.

What a custom block theme changes

A block theme moves design decisions into theme.json, which means the palette, type scale and spacing are defined once and enforced everywhere. Editors get the freedom to assemble pages and none of the freedom to invent a new brand mid-campaign.

It also fixes the accessibility problem at the source. Heading levels come from patterns rather than from whoever is editing, focus states are defined in the theme, and contrast is checked at the token level, so the baseline holds as content grows instead of degrading after launch.

• theme.json controlled palette, typography and spacing
• Named block patterns for hero, feature, testimonial and CTA layouts
• Editor guardrails so publishing speed does not cost consistency
• WCAG 2.2 AA verified with automated and manual testing
• Migration with a full redirect map and post-launch monitoring
