Ecommerce builds across the major platforms. We help you pick the right one, launch it, and keep it growing.
When to hire us for this
Everything that ships with every engagement.
No surprise add-ons. No phase two for the basics. The list below is the floor, not the ceiling.
Platform selection consulting
Shopify vs WooCommerce vs BigCommerce vs custom. We score against your catalog, ops, team, and roadmap, then make the call you can defend to your board.
Custom storefronts on any platform
Custom themes and custom builds on every major ecommerce platform. We treat performance, brand, and the editor experience as equally important.
Replatforming with full preservation
Catalog, customers, orders, content, URLs, and SEO equity migrated 1:1. QA against the legacy site before cutover. No traffic cliff on launch day.
Headless commerce architectures
Storefront API, BigCommerce GraphQL, Hydrogen, or Next.js frontends with the commerce engine of your choice. Editorial flexibility plus frontend speed.
CRO and checkout audits
Funnel analysis, structured A/B testing, and checkout teardowns. We measure lift, then ship the changes that move it. No cargo-cult best practices.
International commerce
Multi-currency, multi-language, regional tax and payments, geo-routed catalogs and content. Built for scale from day one, not retrofitted later.
Six steps, one conversation.
Linear enough to plan around, flexible enough to do good work.
Discover
Audit current store, ops, and analytics. Understand catalog, channels, fulfillment, and the team that runs it day to day.
Strategize
Platform recommendation, integration map, migration plan, and a roadmap that ties build effort to revenue impact.
Design
PDP, PLP, cart, and checkout designed around conversion patterns. Brand and CRO treated as the same problem.
Develop
Custom theme or headless build, payment and tax setup, ERP and marketing integrations. Tested and version controlled.
Launch
Staging QA, redirects, payment and tax sandbox checks, performance tuning, and a calm cutover with rollback plan.
Support
Optional retainer for theme iteration, A/B tests, app and integration maintenance, and seasonal campaign work.
Tools we reach for, picked for fit (not fashion).
eCommerce work we are proud of.
A few recent engagements where platform fit, conversion, and brand came together.
Four ways in, one quality bar.

The things we get asked most.
Real results from real engagements.
A snapshot of the ecommerce development engagements where DoodleWeb owned strategy, design, and engineering end-to-end.

Scholten Equipment
Scholten Equipment is a family-owned dealer in Lynden and Burlington, Washington, selling and servicing farm equipment (Kubota, CLAAS and more). Their parts business ran on phone calls and paper catalogues. We delivered scholtenparts.com: a WooCommerce store on WP Engine with over 500,000 parts and exploded-view diagrams, a search engine that answers as you type, interactive diagrams where customers click a numbered pin to add the exact part, inventory synced from the dealer's HBS business system, live UPS and USPS rates, Stripe payments, local pickup at either store, and SEO so the catalogue is discoverable. We also built the data pipeline that keeps the catalogue growing, including an automated import of the entire CLAAS parts catalogue.

Wildflower Hemp Co
Wildflower Hemp Co sells federally legal THCa flower and cannot run a single paid ad, so DoodleWeb rebuilt the Shopify Plus storefront, shipped a full AEO/GEO layer, cleaned up technical SEO, and designed the email automation program the brand never turned on. Weekly revenue rose 22% in the first two weeks and the store is now cited in AI answers on 43% of 300 tracked buyer queries.

OrderMesh Replatform
OrderMesh gives ecommerce and print-on-demand brands a single layer to route, track, and manage orders across every fulfillment partner they work with, replacing the spreadsheets and one off integrations that break as a catalog scales. Its marketing site had been running on WordPress, where every content change required a developer ticket and product launches waited on a release window. DoodleWeb replatformed the site onto Webflow with a governed component library, migrated all existing content and URL structure with redirects mapped one to one, and handed the CMS to the marketing team with training and documentation.

Ursa Major
Ursa Major delivers mission-ready aerospace and defense systems across hypersonics, solid rocket motors, and space-based defense, leveraging additive manufacturing and modular architectures to produce scalable all-up rounds, engines, and SRMs faster than legacy providers. From throttleable, storable hypersonics to tactically responsive satellite propulsion and extended-range solid rocket motors, Ursa Major is powering the joint force with flexible, American-made systems for any mission, in any domain. DoodleWeb replatformed them onto WordPress — shipping a procurement-grade marketing site with significantly faster page loads, restructured navigation for defense and government stakeholders, and an editor-friendly CMS that lets internal comms publish at the pace of an engineering organization. Shipped in 16 weeks.
